Cloud Foundry Announces Pivotal’s CEO, EMC’s CTO as Keynote Speakers at European Summit

Cloud Foundry Foundation, home of the industry-standard multi-cloud platform, today announced Pivotal CEO Rob Mee and EMC CTO John Roese have joined keynoters from leading organisations like Fidelity, Volkswagen and the Dutch Government Agency Rijkswaterstaat (RWS) at its European Summit, September 26-28, 2016 at the Congress Center Messe in Frankfurt. Also keynoting the event are SAP’s Marc Geall, senior vice president of partner innovation; Allianz CIO Dr. Andreas Nolte and Kichwa Coders’ founder Tracy Miranda.

More than 600 businesses, developers and vendors from across Europe are gathering to share best practices and hear senior executives discuss how Cloud Foundry has helped them build and deploy robust, resilient and flexible cloud native applications across multiple cloud platforms at the Cloud Foundry Summit. This year’s Emcee will be Amy Frampton, Director of Product Marketing at HPE Cloud.

“Excitement is growing - as is the agenda for the European Summit,” said Sam Ramji, CEO of Cloud Foundry Foundation. “This event was built specifically for companies interested in increasing the velocity of application development or building cloud native applications at scale.”

Summit attendees will collaborate with peers, meet the developers behind Cloud Foundry and discuss the roadmap for the fastest growing multi-cloud platform. Developers can participate in two full days of training on microservices and IoT development in a continuous delivery environment, and see how others are leveraging multi-cloud models to deliver apps faster than ever before. The Summit will also provide attendees insight on how to get started with Cloud Foundry and make an impact on the project.
