Liverpool Fashion Week returns 2-5 October at its new venue Fusion on Fleet Street.

The event is the most influential fashion week outside of London and is in its 9th year. It features Gok Wan on the opening night 2 October as the opening night guest DJ. The official show reporter for the duration of the week is top UK fashion reporter, Liz Jones who is looking forward to seeing what Liverpool Fashion Week has to offer. Liverpool Fashion Week has always championed the talent in the north west, claiming #northwestisbest and as always they aim to show the rest of the country just why. The opening night focuses on eight independent couture designers never unveiled before. The highlight is Verve & Co who is flying in from Los Angeles to unveil their new Autumn/Winter Collection. Zimbabwean designer Flency Rose showcases her womenswear and Camilla Couture returns from her USA tour to unveil her latest designer childrenswear collection. Pop culture inspired street wear Mission Kawaii launches their collection on the opening night and fresh from her Best Designer win at the Liverpool Fashion & Beauty Award, Akani debuts her new season collection. Accessories are not forgotten with the couture handbag range from Fabrikk and international milliner and local Liverpool lady House of Charles with her showstopping head creations.The night wraps up with leading Italian importer Essere Belle Boutique featuring the exclusive Kiki Riki.

New Talent night, 3 October unveils five of the latest designers unseen before including Liverpool based Evalina Couture. New York based unisex T-shirt designer Uncommon Routes show off their cheeky design.

Boutique and High Street night on 3 October boasts John Lewis Liverpool One, Peacocks, M & S and Boux Avenue.

Liverpool Fashion Week is supported by BMD:Law who specialise in helping small businesses and is running a holistic theme through the week with the assistance of Buddha Therapies and their Little Buddha Academy, together with Infrared Sauna Spa. Each night before the show expect some healing therapy to ensure you experience the fashion shows with all five senses. Skinov8 Aesthetics provide beauty support with their range of products which are untested on animals.

Backstage the award winning team is overseen by head of make up Emma Lampkin and head of creative hair styling Andrew Joseph Manion.
