If you’ve seen the show, been charmed by Fred and become emotionally invested in the contestants, the official First Dates board game is ready for you to relive some of those TV moments in your front room. If you've not, it matters very little as this is set to be one of the most popular adult games of the year.

In the First Dates game players pair up on a fictional dinner date and answer some seriously awkward questions. Unlike the show, players don’t have to be an actual couple to play. Competing ‘couples’ on their own dates earn points by predicting the answers of the other couples throughout the game.

Fitting in with the restaurant theme, the questions come in the form of a starter, main course and dessert. As players progress through the courses, the questions become more controversial, squirmish and awkward. Ranging from the cheeky and innocent, “Who has the better fashion sense?” to those that are much more in your face and blunt “Who’s better in bed?”.
