CPA Global appoints BBC’S head of architecture to lead development of products and services in The IP Platform

November 13, 2017 – LONDON CPA Global®, the IP technology leader, has recruited Murray Fortescue to the role of Director of Product Architecture and Engineering. Murray will lead the implementation of a common architecture for product delivery.

Prior to joining CPA Global, Murray was Head of Architecture for myBBC, leading cross functional teams to support the Corporation’s Audience Platform strategy. A key focus was the delivery of personalised experiences across digital and online, as well as the ability to provide a holistic view of the audience consuming BBC online services.

My primary objective will be to manage the delivery environments to ensure consistency of product experience, and the rapid delivery of technology to market.”

In his new role, based at CPA Global’s London office, Murray will lead a global team of more than 150 software engineers based in Australia, UK, France, India, Sweden, and the US. Murray will also lead the development and testing of new products and services within The IP Platform.
