RIDI Awards 2018: Winners Announced Friday 16 March 2018 PDF Print Judging entries was, once again, challenging, but each one of our winners couldn’t be more deserving The winners of the 2018 Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative (RIDI) Awards were announced yesterday (15th March) at an exclusive event in central London which was hosted by Paralympics GB athlete, Sophia Warner. Launched in 2014, the RIDI Awards celebrate progress and recognise the success of organisations that are making headway in increasing the inclusion of disabled jobseekers. Chair of the Judging Panel, Kate Headley said: “The RIDI Awards are the grand finale of a successful year-long campaign to create disability-confident recruiters and employers. I’m sure all attendees will agree that the stories shared during this year’s ceremony are truly inspiring. Judging entries was, once again, challenging, but each one of our winners couldn’t be more deserving. “Thank you, as always, to our wonderful volunteer judges from external organisations, our executive board and generous sponsors who make continuing this incredible journey possible. We are not there yet, but if this year’s winners are anything to go by we are getting much closer to creating a disability confident landscape for disabled job seekers.” Jane Hatton, who joined the judging panel for the 2018 Awards, added: “I’ve been following the work of RIDI since the organisation launched, but witnessing the incredible submissions that the judging panel have the privilege of reviewing from the inside this year was a true honour.
