APL Media Ltd has made a series of new appointments following a restructure of its editorial team and product changes

APL Media Ltd has made a series of new appointments following a restructure of its editorial team and product changes. These include the repositioning of National Geographic Food under the National Geographic Traveller (UK) brand, and the launch of new trade title Travel Trends this May.

National Geographic Traveller Food
The magazine will now be quarterly, sent out free of charge to existing National Geographic Traveller (UK) subscribers, and be available on newsstands four times a year, packaged with relevant issues of Traveller.

National Geographic Traveller Food team:
Editor: Glen Mutel, in a new appointment. He will also continue to work on National Geographic Traveller in a new role as executive editor (he was formerly deputy editor of the title).

Deputy Editor: Nicola Trup (formerly of the Independent, Evening Standard and ABTA Magazine). She will also be an associate editor on National Geographic Traveller.

Assistant Editor: Farida Zeynalova, who will also continue in her role as company-wide assistant editor for APL Media.

National Geographic Traveller team changes:
Editor: Pat Riddell (current editor)
Deputy Editor: Stephanie Cavagnaro, promoted from senior editor.
Project Editor: Zane Henry
Assistant editor & Collection editor: Tamsin Wressell
Assistant editor: Connor McGovern, formerly editorial assistant for APL Media.
Online editor: Josephine Price, in a new full-time position covering both Traveller titles.

APL Media Limited changes:
Editorial manager & Editor: Jo Fletcher-Cross, formerly editor of ABTA Magazine, will be taking up the newly created role of editorial manager, APL Media Limited. In addition, she's also been appointed as editor of two titles: Postcards (US-based contract magazine) and APL's new trade title Travel Trends.

Operations manager: Seamus McDermott, promoted from digital development manager to the newly created post.
