Gateshead, UK, 25 April, 2018 – A 40,000 square foot adventure park will open its doors on the 4th May, in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear. The Jump Giants venue in Dunston features dodgems, a soft play area for children aged five and under as well as wall-to-wall trampolines.

Thrill seekers can bounce into the Open Jump area, have fun in the Wipe Out zone, Ninja Court, Reaction Wall (a game with a light board that visitors jump and hit the buttons to turn off the flashing bulbs), Foam Zone, Dodgeball courts, Basketball lanes and on the Battle Beams where you can duel your friend until one of you falls into a fun foam pit.

The opening of this £1 million centre will be marked with a launch party attended by local schools, clubs and families. In anticipation of the launch, Jump Giants is running a massive competition. The lucky grand prize winner will host a party for 25 jumpers. Other prizes include a party for 10 and jump passes for a family of four.

Julian Henton, Co-Founder of Jump Giants explains, “We’re passionate about people of all ages and abilities coming together to have fun, and we’re constantly looking at new ways to surprise and delight people. Gateshead is the first of our parks to feature dodgems, and you don’t have to be an aspiring Lewis Hamilton to enjoy them. At the other end of the spectrum is our soft play area for children under five years old where little ones can scale new heights.”

The soft play area is included in the cafe, so parents can easily keep an eye on their kids while enjoying a range of delicious food and drink. Soft play includes a great area for babies too, all designed with the high standards in safety that Jump Giants is known for. The dodgems have six unique and custom cars. They’re round and hover style, which means they are easy to navigate, quick to get away, so drivers are able to do more dodging.

The park features interconnected bright green and purple angled trampolines and replaces the F1K indoor go-karting centre which formerly occupied the space.

The park costs £11 per person (three years and up) for an "open jump” session.

School term time opening hours are: 10.30am to 8pm Monday to Thursday (open until 9pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays), 9am to 8pm on Saturdays, and 10am to 7pm on Sundays.

Adventurers can stay tuned to the latest offers and photos on the park’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/JumpGiantsNewcastle/ or find it on Forge Road, Dunston, Gateshead, Tyne & Wear, NE8 2RB. Enquiries to www.jumpgiants.com or 0844 414 1141.
