The Recruitment & Employment Confederation and TALiNT Partners announce the Good Recruitment Benchmarking and Awards programme for Talent Acquisition teams
Talent Acquisition teams need to understand how they perform across key recruitment activities
The REC and TALiNT Partners are proud to launch the UK’s most relevant, rigorous and extensive talent acquisition benchmarking programme covering all aspects of an employer’s recruitment and talent acquisition activities.
Launched as part of the REC’s Good Recruitment Campaign (GRC), this is a unique programme as both the benchmarking assessment and awards are based on structured and detailed submissions designed to identify and celebrate employers who don’t just demonstrate best practice but who also have strong values at the heart of their recruitment processes. As such it will become the benchmark for defining employer excellence in talent acquisition.
The benchmarking assessment programme is open to organisations and businesses across all sectors and not only GRC members.
Employers provide detailed and carefully validated input across a range of categories which represent the spectrum of activities undertaken by a typical in-house recruitment function. This generates an insightful ‘health check’ into the organisation’s talent acquisition effectiveness and gives a detailed comparison with the wider market whist maintaining complete confidentiality of each submission.
The benchmarked assessments cover: employer branding excellence, candidate experience, supply chain management, youth and graduate recruitment, excellence in diversity and inclusion, employment flexibility, on-boarding effectiveness and overall hiring effectiveness.
An automated system creates a clear scorecard across all the data points and provides an overall ranking against the wider market.
A shortlist of the best scoring organisations for each category is then generated with shortlisted organisations invited to participate in an independent judging process. There are additional awards for innovation and the best recruitment team as well as an overall winner.
All participants are then invited to a celebration and awards ceremony in London on 27th September 2018. There is no additional charge for entering the awards.
Kevin Green, chairman of the Good Recruitment Campaign comments “We are delighted to announce this new benchmarking and awards initiative which shows that the Good Recruitment Campaign is innovating, adding more value, and helping drive positive change in organisations committed to good practice in resourcing.”
Ken Brotherston, Managing Director of TALiNT Partners adds “Talent Acquisition teams need to understand how they perform across key recruitment activities and we are delighted to have developed a process that allows them to confidentially evaluate their results with clear feedback as to where they can improve.”
