APSCo Awards for Excellence 2018 shortlist announced

After much anticipation, the shortlist for the 2018 Association of Professional Staffing Companies APSCo Awards for Excellence - sponsored by NatWest and 6CATS International - has been unveiled. These coveted annual awards recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements in the professional recruitment sector.

The shortlisted companies will be invited to attend a Q & A session with APSCo’s panel of independent judges in mid-September and winners are to be announced at an invitation-only dinner on the 16th of October 2018.

Commenting on the announcement, Ann Swain, APSCo Chief Executive said;

“These awards have long been recognised as the most prestigious accolade in professional recruitment and are a unique indicator of standards throughout the sector. Once again, the judges were impressed by both the volume and quality of entries which they had the pleasure of reviewing this year. As is often the case, deciding on a shortlist was no mean feat, and we anticipate that choosing the winners following the panel interviews will be equally as challenging.”

This year, financial bandings across the ‘Recruitment Company of the Year’ categories have been amended to enable small and medium sized businesses to compete alongside other firms with which they are more closely matched. To achieve this, the ‘Under £5m turnover’ and ‘£5m to £50m turnover’ categories have been replaced with three others: ‘Under £3m turnover’, ‘£3m to £10m turnover’ and ‘£11m - £50m turnover’. The ‘Over £50m turnover’ category remains unchanged.
