Pink is undoubtedly the colour of the moment!

It started when Pantone named ‘Rose Quartz’ as their Colour Of The Year in 2016, but the rise in popularity can be traced back to the release of Wes Andersons quirky film ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ (2014) and thus, the term ‘Millennial Pink’ was born. Millennial pink isn’t actually a colour in itself, but an umbrella term used to describe the variety of shades of barley there pink that have exploded onto the high street recently.

So how do you include it in your home?

One easy way to include pink is via accessories. This way the colour doesn’t dominate the room, yet is still obviously present. Think pink rugs, cushions and throws as well as pink accents. Think pink details on pictures, pink flowers in a vase or just a few simple pink colour candle holders dotted around. A hint of pink is all you really need to jump on the trend.
