Rob joins us at an exciting time and his experience in advocating great customer service will support our effective and efficient bureau.

A new Bureau Operations Manager takes control of TEAM’s outsourced bill validation and cost recovery service.

Rob Webb recently joined TEAM to head up the newly restructured Energy Bureau service. He has been hired to deliver TEAM’s primary focuses for the Bureau service which includes reinforcing data quality, boosting operational efficiency, and driving up cost recovery rates.
Rob has spent the past few weeks working with the Bureau team and establishing relationships with TEAM’s customers.

Graham Paul, Service Delivery Director at TEAM, explains:
“Over the past 12-months we have made big changes to the Bureau service. This has included the implementation of a management information system to set KPIs, enhance data quality and deliver faster cost recoveries. Rob joins us at an exciting time and his experience in advocating great customer service will support our effective and efficient bureau.”

Rob is a very experienced operations manager. He has worked for organisations in the telecoms, financial services and utilities sectors, building and running operational service-based teams of all sizes.

For the last two years, Rob was Head of Collections at Opus Energy. There he managed a growing team with six team leaders and 162 employees. Prior to this, Rob had built up over 14 years’ experience in operational service management within the finance sector, working with companies such as HBOS and Lloyds, managing pensions services and mortgage collections.

He also had a short spell at the London Borough of Hackney, coincidentally one of TEAM’s Bureau customers, as the head of the single front office, so he also understands the public sector well.

Timothy Holman, Head of Operations at TEAM, added:
“Rob has a proven record of making policy and process improvements. He brings experience of using six sigma and lean practices to TEAM. This is an important addition to the direction of the Bureau service and how we continue to provide a cost-efficient and effective outsourced service for our customers”

Rob has experience in producing quality frameworks for customer experience strategies and has previously implemented performance evaluation metrics to improve Service Level Agreements and efficiencies.

Rob Webb said:
“I’ve joined TEAM at a very interesting time. Over the past few weeks I’ve spent time getting to know the team and I’m really impressed by the changes achieved within the past 12 months. I recognise the Bureau staff are working hard aligning to the restructure and I am confident the Bureau customers will benefit from the improvements. Knowing our customers and understanding their business and energy management needs is at the heart of everything we do.”

TEAM recently declared their commitment to ongoing development of products and services at their Energy Management Conference. Rob’s knowledge and expertise will be a credit to the growth and evolution of the Bureau, as set out by TEAM’s product and service roadmap for 2019.
