Gaining membership to Sharing Economy UK demonstrates our commitment to upholding the highest principles of professionalism

Talent crowdsourcing platform, AnyGood?, has been accepted as a member of Sharing Economy UK, the trade body committed to championing businesses that operate under a shared economy model.

The sharing economy enables people to trade space, skills and services. Sharing economy businesses use technology to empower people, better utilise resources and reduce waste.

Launched in March 2015 following a Government-commissioned independent review, the trade body works closely with Government and policymakers, to represent the sharing economy community, and lobby for changes to protect consumers and sharing economy businesses. In March 2017, the CBI also began collaborating with Sharing Economy UK.

Commenting on this announcement, Co-Founder of AnyGood?, Juliet Eccleston, stated:

“There’s been huge growth in the popularity of platforms that are able to provide scalable solutions to challenges experienced within traditional industries. Companies like Airbnb, easyCar and AnyGood? provide people with the ability to leverage resources they already have and make them directly available to those who need it. Indeed, when we look at the increased use of crowdfunding and crowdsourcing campaigns, there can be no doubt that businesses can benefit from the shared economy. Gaining membership to Sharing Economy UK demonstrates our commitment to upholding the highest principles of professionalism, integrity, fair practice and ethics.”

Jenna Cane, Sharing Economy UK Manager commented:

“We’re pleased to welcome AnyGood? to the sharing economy community and look forward to working with them in the future. The growth of the sharing economy in the UK has been strong. Millions of people across the UK are embracing new ways to share their space, skills and stuff with the help of innovative technology.”
