Former Lion Capital COO and PwC Deals Partner Paul Cooper joins Bamburgh Capital

Bamburgh Capital, an independent corporate advisory business, is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Cooper as an advisor and non-executive director.

Paul is an experienced private equity executive and business advisor whose previous roles have included Deals Partner at PwC, and Chief Operating Officer at Lion Capital, a consumer focused private equity fund. He has also held senior roles at Grant Thornton, Terra Firma Capital Partners and KPMG and is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Bute Energy and Chief Operating Officer of Grayling Capital LLP.

Paul’s appointment follows a busy period for Bamburgh and the appointment, earlier this year, of two Corporate Finance Executives; Ed Thompson and Matt Wynne. Ed previously worked at GSA Capital Partners and Partners Capital LLP. Matt joined from KPMG where he qualified as a chartered accountant.
