Intelligent Resource Reaffirms Commitment to Barrier-Free Recruitment

Intelligent Resource, one of the UK’s leading staffing companies and managed recruitment service providers, is delighted to announce that it has reaffirmed its commitment to creating a barrier-free recruitment industry by achieving Disability Confident Employer status.

The Disability Confident scheme is a government initiative which shows employers how to recruit, retain and develop disabled employees. To move from being Disability Confident Committed (Level 1) to Disability Confident Employer (Level 2) – Intelligent Resource was required to carry out a rigorous self-assessment, testing the business against a set of statements about employing disabled people.

This latest development is part of the firm’s ongoing commitment to create a wholly inclusive recruitment industry. The organisation has recently renewed its partnership with Business Disability Forum (BDF), and is also a dedicated member of the RIDI 100, two of the most influential disability organisations in the UK.

In addition to this, the firm has recently launched a cross-industry survey in preparation for a November roundtable with the BDF. The insights from the research will feed into the event, where a panel of experts will discuss how businesses can most effectively break down barriers for disabled workers.
