Parago Software helps Pickens County School District manage its IT inventory

25 schools in the district are now using Parago Software’s School Inventory Management system

Reading, United Kingdom, 29th March 2016 — Parago Software Ltd., a world leader in cloud-based education inventory management solutions, today announced that it is working with the School District of Pickens County, based in the United States. The School District is using Parago’s cloud-based School Inventory Manager system to manage IT inventory across multiple schools without incurring hefty costs.

With over 25 schools across the Pickens County District, the Accountability, Information and Technology Services Department is responsible for thousands of pieces of IT equipment across a large geographical area, with technology spread out across many sites and used by numerous members of staff. Before implementing the Parago solution, the School District had been maintaining assets via an Excel spreadsheet, which had not only been laborious, but was also unreliable. The District has also recently implemented a one-to-one technology program with secondary students, and as a result, needed a way to accurately manage the assignment of Chromebooks to its students.

The undo option is one of our favorite features and allows us to quickly correct any inevitable human errors.
