Parago Software has a number of graduate trainee sales and sales/senior sales consultant vacancies as well as a once in a lifetime opportunity to go and work in the US.

READING – 12th July 2016 — Parago Software is looking for ambitious and tenacious individuals, who enjoy a challenge and are self-starters to fill a number of sales vacancies that this Reading based company currently has.

The right candidates for these roles will have great verbal communication skills and be very driven to succeed. He or she will enjoy working in a pressured but supportive environment and most of all will be goal-oriented and not afraid to have a target to hit. Details of the roles that are currently available are outlined below:

Trainee Sales or Graduate

Trainee salespeople receive both in house and external sales training, as well as extensive product training. In this role graduates will primarily be responsible for making appointments for Parago’s external sales consultants to meet with business managers and senior leadership personnel at schools and academies. Parago does not cold call schools, instead it sends letters with testimonials from other local schools who have purchased its systems backed up with marketing literature. These are then followed up with telephone calls by the sales trainees. Parago also calls existing customers to check they are happy with the system and to ask for referrals to local schools or invitations to give presentations. Trainee salespeople are paid a bonus for making appointments and a further bonus if the appointment turns into a sale. This is a great way to start your career in sales and to springboard into other sales consultant and senior consultant roles at Parago.

Sales/Senior Sales Consultants

Sales consultants cover an area that includes around 4,000 schools in England. They attend meetings made by internal sales trainees, second stage appointments, and appointments made by themselves from phone calls to Parago’s existing customers to obtain leads. They also attend appointments with existing schools to review usage. During the school holidays they also carry out system implementation services, they keep themselves updated on system developments, and attend quarterly sales and product training days at Parago’s head office in Reading. Consultants are paid a good basic salary depending on experience, a car allowance and there is no ceiling on commission, which means that OTE range from £50 to £70K.

USA Senior Sales Consultants

Parago has been so successful here in the UK that it is now branching out to the US. Initially Parago will sell to US state K12 school districts, and the first senior sales consultant to be appointed will be based in Greenville South Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity for a high performing salesperson who has good experience selling to the education sector in the USA or UK. Building on an excellent testimonial from a district of schools in South Carolina we will be exhibiting and presenting at the SC Ed Tech conference in November. Parago Software will also be exhibiting at conferences in California, Texas and Colorado during 2017. This is a role that will appeal to someone looking for their next challenge and who likes the idea of working abroad.
