Parago Software teams up with Pickens County SC at the SC EdTech show Myrtle Beach

Parago Software has two presentation slots at the show on Thursday 3rd November at 9.45 and 11am

Reading, UK, - 6th October 2016 - In the first week of November Parago Software is heading out to South Carolina to present at the SC EdTech show Myrtle Beach, the next destination on its busy events schedule in the final quarter of 2016. As a world leader in cloud-based education IT inventory, premises and contract management solutions, and having recently opened its new international office in Greenville, the event at the Myrtle Beach Convention Centre is a great opportunity for Parago to demonstrate to US school leaders the benefits of its software solutions and services.

Parago Software has two presentation slots at the event, during which Tim Roots, Managing Director will speak in conjunction with Barbara Nesbitt, Director of Instructional Technology AITS, District of Pickens County SC. In March of this year Parago announced that it was working with Pickens County. Barbara Nesbitt comments: "With the implementation of the 1:1 technology program for secondary students, we needed to implement a system that would ensure we would not lose thousands of dollars in IT every year. Through the use of cloud based technology and smartphone apps the Parago solution has provided us with a fantastic way of managing our IT inventory, and simplifies the assignment of one to one devices across multiple schools."

The two presentation slots offer delegates the opportunity to fully understand the technology that Parago provides and also to engage with both the team at Parago, and the IT Directors of Pickens County SC.

Parago Software is also hosting a stand (number 521) at the event meaning delegates will have the opportunity to visit the stand and have a demo as well as gain valuable insight from Parago’s experienced team and of course ask any questions they may have.

Since Parago moved to the US it has been expanding its physical presence in the country, helping schools in and around the area to achieve the same levels of cost-saving, convenience and improved asset management that it has already established in many schools, academies and foundations across the UK and beyond.

Taking place over the 2nd-4th November the SC EdTech offers content and activities that span all areas of educational technology with diverse workshops, presentations, speakers, exhibitors, and recognition events. The conference is managed by the South Carolina Association for Educational Technology (SCAET), a non-profit organisation. With over 100 concurrent sessions and workshops, and over 160 exhibit booths, there will be a lot to experience during the three day conference.

Parago Software’s participation in the SC EdTech show will develop its US presence even further and demonstrate to those, particularly in the South Carolina area, the extent to which Parago’s solutions are a highly effective and beneficial way to manage assets and contracts.
