Sgt Pepper pop-up store to open in Liverpool - Store opening and special events celebrate 50th anniversary of groundbreaking album

The opening of a special Sgt Pepper pop-up store as part of the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the release of The Beatles’ seminal album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, has been announced on The Beatles Facebook page.

Opening from 25th May - 11th June at 1 Mathew Street in Liverpool, the shop will feature loads of exclusive Sgt Pepper related products including apparel, gifts, prints and of course, music. There will be a special opening at 12:00am midnight - 2:00am on the 26th in order for fans to be the first to buy the anniversary editions of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band including the super deluxe box set which will be sold in an exclusive tote bag only available with purchase at the store.

Also on sale will be 500 copies of The Beatles’ single ‘Penny Lane/Strawberry Fields Forever' in a custom Sgt Pepper striped paper bag.
