TEAM Energy Successfully Completes ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus Certification

Information Security Management System, ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus certifications have just been awarded to TEAM Energy.

With a promise to its customers to “meet all security needs and safeguard their information assets”, TEAM Energy completed both certifications.

ISO 27001 is one of the most widely recognised and internationally accepted information security standards. By implementing this framework, a comprehensive Information Security Management System (ISMS) has been embedded at TEAM Energy. The Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001 endorses that TEAM’s energy management software, Sigma, is robust with security controls and a secure configuration.

In order to achieve both certification standards, TEAM’s compliance was validated by an independent audit firm after demonstrating an ongoing and systematic approach to managing and protecting company and customer data.

Graham Paul, Service Delivery Director at TEAM, explains:
