LONDON, 30th September 2019: Genuine Solutions (GSUK) has been shortlisted for a Responsible Business Award 2019 – for circular innovation. The awards will be presented in London on 2nd October.

The Circular Innovation category celebrates innovation which moves a company from a linear to a circular model. GSUK has been shortlisted for its commitment to reducing the volume of e-waste that ends up in landfill. Since its launch in 2005, the company has recovered more than 22.5 million mobile phones, accessories and components, preventing more than eight thousand tonnes of e-waste ending up in landfill.

The Responsible Business Awards are run by the Ethical Corporation - an independent business intelligence, publishing and networking organisation. It encourages businesses around the world to practice high levels of ethical behaviour and do the right thing for their customers and the wider planet. 2019 marks the 10th anniversary of the Responsible Business Awards, which showcase companies driving the sustainability agenda. Judges include Chief Executives of large corporations, journalists and senior campaigners on environmental issues.
